This Content Policy applies to all sponsored blog posts published on Pick3DP. By submitting your requirements for a sponsored blog post, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this policy in full. Pick3DP reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any sponsored content that does not comply with these standards.

1. Introduction

Pick3DP operates a marketplace and editorial platform for the 3D printing and digital manufacturing community. Sponsored blog posts allow manufacturers and brands to publish commercially supported content on the platform alongside Pick3DP's editorial output. To maintain the integrity of the platform and comply with applicable advertising and search engine standards, all sponsored content must meet the requirements set out in this policy.

This policy applies from the moment you submit your content requirements. Submission constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

2. Our Editorial Content

Pick3DP publishes original editorial content written by both staff authors and freelance contributors. Our editorial team selects all topics, sources, and products to cover without external influence from advertisers or manufacturers.

Staff and freelance contributors are compensated by Pick3DP for their work. Contributors are not permitted to accept payment, gifts, or any other benefit from manufacturers or brands in exchange for coverage. Violation of this rule will result in immediate removal from the contributor network and may result in legal action where applicable.

Pick3DP's editorial content — including guides, comparisons, and how-tos — is produced independently of all commercial relationships on the platform.

3. Our Maker Review Network

Product and machine reviews on Pick3DP are written by a community of makers who review equipment and products they already own. This model ensures that review opinions are independent and are not influenced by manufacturer relationships.

Pick3DP does not accept compensated reviews. Specifically:

• Pick3DP does not accept review units — manufacturers do not send machines or products to reviewers for the purpose of coverage;
• Makers in our network may not accept payment, free products, gifts, or any other benefit from a manufacturer in exchange for a review or any form of coverage;
• Reviews must reflect the maker's genuine, independent experience with a product they own and have used;
• Any maker found to have received undisclosed compensation or benefits from a manufacturer will be permanently removed from the network and their content removed from the platform.

4. Corrections

Pick3DP is committed to accuracy. If we publish a factual error in any editorial content, we will correct it promptly. Corrections are clearly marked on the affected article so readers are aware of what changed and when.

5. Our Advertising Model

Pick3DP is editorially independent. We finance the platform through advertising, and we are transparent about how that works.

The only commercial content product Pick3DP offers is a sponsored blog post — a full article written by the advertiser, published under the advertiser's name and company, and clearly labelled "SPONSORED" in the post header. This label is applied by Pick3DP and cannot be removed or modified by the advertiser.

We do not:

• Sell links — no one can pay to have a link inserted into Pick3DP's editorial pages, product reviews, buyer guides, comparison tables, or category pages;
• Sell product reviews or awards;
• Accept guest posts or unsolicited content outside the sponsored post product;
• Allow paid interference in our editorial content, rankings, or recommendations.

Links within sponsored posts are automatically tagged with rel="sponsored nofollow" by Pick3DP at the time of publication, in accordance with Google's guidelines for paid content. Advertisers are purchasing content placement — not link equity. Any attempt to circumvent this tagging will result in immediate rejection of the post.

Pick3DP's editorial pages, reviews, and comparisons remain entirely independent of all advertising relationships. Our editorial team chooses the topics, products, and sources it covers without external influence from advertisers.

6. Use of AI

Pick3DP uses AI-assisted tools to support editorial work — including spelling and grammar checks, formatting assistance, and content quality review. These tools help us maintain consistent standards across the platform. Pick3DP may also use AI tools to edit or generate the creative featured images that accompany blog posts.

All sponsored content submitted to Pick3DP is reviewed by our editorial staff before publication. The final decision on whether a post is published rests with Pick3DP's editorial team.

We do not accept AI-only or AI-spun submissions. Content that appears to have been generated entirely by AI, without meaningful human authorship and editorial contribution, will be rejected. The article must reflect genuine expertise or perspective from the submitting brand or author.

7. Sponsored Post Attribution

Before submitting your content, please ensure the following:

• Your published post will display a visible "SPONSORED" label in the post header. This label is applied by Pick3DP and cannot be removed, hidden, or modified by the advertiser;
• The post will display your name and company name exactly as they appear in your Pick3DP account profile at the time of publication. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your profile name and company are accurate, complete, and up to date before submitting your requirements;
• No per-post customisation of the attribution display is available — the published attribution is drawn directly from your account profile;
• Pick3DP reserves the right to edit or reject the post if the attribution information is missing, inaccurate, or likely to mislead readers.

8. Content Requirements

8.1 Originality

The draft you submit must be an original article that has not been published, in whole or in substantial part, on any other website, platform, or publication at the time of submission. Duplicate or substantially similar content will be rejected.

8.2 Word Count

The minimum and maximum word count for your sponsored post is as agreed at the time of purchase and confirmed in your order. Submissions that fall materially outside the agreed range may be returned for revision before review.

8.3 Accuracy and Factual Correctness

• All factual claims in the article must be accurate and verifiable;
• Do not include statistics, research findings, or product specifications that you cannot substantiate;
• Misleading or exaggerated claims about products, services, or outcomes will result in rejection.

8.4 Editorial Quality

• Content must not be auto-generated, AI-only, or template-spun without meaningful human editorial contribution;
• Purely promotional or catalogue-style copy — for example, a list of product specifications without analysis or context — will be rejected;
• The article must provide genuine informational, educational, or practical value to the Pick3DP community.

9. Mandatory Disclosure

• The sponsored nature of the post is disclosed by Pick3DP through the "SPONSORED" label described in Section 7. Advertisers may not request its removal or attempt to obscure the commercial nature of the content;
• If the article itself contains any additional paid endorsements, affiliate relationships, or undisclosed commercial arrangements beyond the Pick3DP sponsorship, these must be declared in writing at the time of submission. Failure to disclose additional commercial relationships may result in immediate removal of the post and suspension of the account.

10. SEO and Link Standards

Pick3DP follows Google's guidelines for sponsored and paid content. The following standards apply to all outbound links in sponsored posts:

10.1 Link Attribution

• All outbound links that are part of the commercial arrangement — including links to the advertiser's own website, products, or services — are automatically tagged with rel="sponsored nofollow" by Pick3DP at the time of publication;
• Advertisers must not attempt to embed links designed to circumvent this tagging, including through redirects, JavaScript-based links, or other technical mechanisms intended to pass link equity;
• Links that are genuinely editorially earned and not part of the commercial arrangement may be treated differently at Pick3DP's editorial discretion.

10.2 Anchor Text

• Anchor text must be descriptive and contextually relevant to the linked content;
• Keyword-stuffed anchor text — for example, using exact-match commercial search terms as link text for the sole purpose of search engine optimisation — is not permitted;
• Pick3DP may edit anchor text that does not meet these standards before publication.

10.3 Prohibited Link Practices

• No hidden redirects or cloaked links;
• No links to pages that themselves engage in link schemes;
• No more than the number of outbound commercial links agreed at the time of purchase.

11. Relevance — Blog Categories

Sponsored posts must be genuinely relevant to one of the five existing Pick3DP blog categories:

• 3D Printing
• 3D Scanning
• CNC Machining
• Laser Machining
• 3D Modeling

Off-topic commercial content — including general business, finance, lifestyle, or technology content unrelated to digital manufacturing and making — will be rejected regardless of payment status. The advertiser is responsible for selecting an appropriate category when submitting requirements. Pick3DP may reassign the category if the submitted category is not an accurate match.

12. Prohibited Content

The following content is not permitted in sponsored posts on Pick3DP under any circumstances:

• Competitor promotion: content that promotes, links to, or is designed to benefit competing product comparison platforms or marketplaces;
• Illegal or regulated products: content promoting products or services that are illegal, subject to licensing or regulatory restrictions, or prohibited by applicable law in the advertiser's or Pick3DP's jurisdiction;
• Misleading claims: false or unsubstantiated claims about products, services, pricing, performance, or outcomes;
• Community Guidelines violations: any content that would violate Pick3DP's Community Guidelines, including prohibited content categories such as hate speech, harassment, impersonation, privacy violations, and misinformation.

13. Review and Publication

Pick3DP reviews all submitted drafts before publication. The review process is as follows:

• Pick3DP will review your draft within a reasonable period following submission, subject to editorial capacity;
• Pick3DP may request revisions before approving the post for publication — failure to provide revisions within a reasonable period may result in order cancellation;
• Pick3DP reserves the right to reject a post that does not meet this policy without obligation to refund, unless the rejection is due to Pick3DP's own error;
• Publication dates indicated at the time of purchase are indicative and not guaranteed. Pick3DP will make reasonable efforts to publish within the agreed timeframe, but operational or editorial delays may occur;
• Pick3DP may make minor editorial corrections (spelling, grammar, formatting) to submitted content without prior approval.

14. Consequences of Policy Violations

Violations of this Content Policy may result in the following actions, applied at Pick3DP's sole discretion:

1. Content removal: the sponsored post is removed from the platform without refund;
2. Warning: the advertiser is notified of the violation and asked to comply going forward;
3. Content restriction: the advertiser's ability to submit new sponsored content is temporarily restricted;
4. Account suspension: the advertiser's account is suspended for a defined period;
5. Permanent ban: the advertiser's account is permanently deactivated and they are barred from creating new accounts.

Pick3DP reserves the right to take immediate action, including permanent bans and order cancellation without refund, for serious or repeated violations.

15. Changes to This Policy

Pick3DP may update this Content Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the sponsored content service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Pick3DP will take reasonable steps to notify active advertisers of material changes.
